Sussex wine estate welcomes group tours

English wine producer Bolney Wine Estate has invested more than £350,000 in a new visitor centre, with a viewing balcony overlooking the vines.

The Sussex estate has produced a selection of white, red and sparkling wines over the past 40 years.

Sam Linter, master wine maker and managing director at Bolney Wine Estate, said: “We want the public to be able to truly experience this amazing site in which we get to work every day.

“The new balcony has stunning views of the vineyard and on a sunny day there will be no better place to enjoy a glass of Sussex wine.”

The visitor centre is part of the vineyard’s wine store and includes a shop and cafe, offering Bolney Wine and produce from Sussex.

Bolney plans a range of evening events throughout the year including pop-up restaurants and evening tours.

Private tours are available for groups from 10 to a maximum of 65 and can include lunch, dinner or afternoon tea.
