Fans of the ITV soap Emmerdale can see behind the scenes of the show when Continuum Attractions opens its latest attraction next month.
Located at the programme’s former studio on Burley Road in Leeds, the Emmerdale Studio Experience will take groups on a journey to show how Emmerdale’s characters and stories are brought to life.
From September 3, the guided tours reveal the production processes, with full-scale set reconstructions, preserved props and costumes – plus secrets behind stunts and special effects.
Groups will experience the familiar surroundings of the Dingles, Bernice’s Salon, Smithy Cottage and The Woolpack sets and hear stories from the studio floor – and pose behind The Woolpack bar (pictured) for a souvenir photograph.
The fully guided tour takes about 90 minutes.
Exclusive Emmerdale merchandise is available in the gift shop and there is also a cafe.
Continuum Attractions said the opening of The Emmerdale Studio Experience follows “unprecedented demand” for its seasonal Emmerdale village tours on the Harewood Estate in Leeds, and the success of Coronation Street The Tour, which closed at the end of last year.
The new attraction will be operated in partnership with ITV.
Continuum Attractions operates a range of attractions in the UK, including The Canterbury Tales, Emirates Spinnaker Tower, Oxford Castle Unlocked and York’s Chocolate Story.
