Nicolas Petrovic, Eurostar International chief executive, will be the guest speaker at the Tourism Society Annual Dinner, in the House of Lords (March 29).
He joined Eurostar International as London director of customer services in 2003 before spending almost four years as chief operating officer. He took over as chief executive in 2010.
He said: “I am delighted to be taking part in this event and greatly admire the work of the Tourism Society in promoting tourism both as an industry and a career.”
Hayley Beer-Gamage, Tourism Society chairman, added: “It will be fascinating to hear views on tourism from a European perspective.”
The dinner will be hosted by Tourism Society president Lord Thurso, who will also present the Tourism Society Award.
This goes to the individual or organisation voted for by the society’s board in recognition of their outstanding contribution to the development of UK tourism.
