The Thomas Cook store at The Bullring, Birmingham, won a Best of British hamper as its prize for being Bourne Leisure’s Agency of the Month in February.
The agency scooped last month’s award thanks to its proactive approach on social media and its targeted promotion of Bourne Leisure’s latest offers.
The operator said these activities resulted in several key bookings, which put the agency ahead on sales compared to the same time last year.
Bourne Leisure launched its ‘Agency/Homeworker of the Month’ award in January to reward agents “who are going that extra mile for the Bourne Leisure brands”.
The Best of British Hamper contains treats such as fresh cream fudge, English afternoon tea bags, shortbread fingers, strawberry jam, British chocolate and toffee.
Bourne Leisure has also launched interactive, online training courses for its three brands: Butlin’s, Haven and Warner Leisure Hotels.
