TV presenter Caroline Flack will make her stage debut as Irene in the national tour of the Watermill Theatre’s production of Crazy For You.
She joins Tom Chambers as Bobby in the show, which opens at the Theatre Royal, Plymouth, on August 17.
Flack won the 12th season of Strictly Come Dancing in 2014 and currently presents ITV’s Love Island.
Her previous presenting credits include I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here Now! and The Xtra Factor.
Before her presenting career, she trained in musical theatre.
Chambers won the sixth season of Strictly Come Dancing in 2008 and can currently be seen in the BBC drama Casualty.
With music and lyrics by the Gershwin brothers, Crazy For You features mistaken identities, plot twists, heartbreak and famous songs, including I Got Rhythm, They Can’t Take That Away From Me, Nice Work If You Can Get It and Embraceable You.
After the Theatre Royal, the tour moves on to Leeds, Cardiff, Newcastle, Dublin, Southend, Nottingham, Bristol, Glasgow, Birmingham, Norwich, Sheffield, Southampton, Manchester and Liverpool.
