Gorge will glow this Easter

Cheddar Gorge & Caves in Somerset is staging a special Easter Egg Hunt this April.

Running from April 1-23, the ‘Glow In The Dark Easter Egg Hunt’ will feature clusters of brightly-coloured eggs that have been carefully placed at various out-of-reach places throughout Gough’s Cave.

Families will be challenged to spot all of the glow-in-the-dark eggs and take note of all the different colours. Those who hand in a correctly completed form will be rewarded at the end of the trail with chocolate.

Participants are also encouraged to keep an eye out for Richard Gough’s special Golden Egg, as anyone able to take a selfie with it could be in with a chance of winning a host of special prizes.

Admission is included within the cost of the Explorer Ticket, which includes access to Cheddar Gorge and Caves (Dreamhunters, Gough’s Cave, The Museum of Prehistory, the Lookout Tower, Cliff-top Gorge Walk and Gorge Open-Top Bus). Discounts are available to pre-booked groups of 12 or more.

Other Easter activities for visitors to Cheddar Gorge & Caves will include a craft activity at the exit to Dreamhunters, and Stone Age Survival activities at the museum.
