The winner of the 2017 VisitEngland Tourism Superstar award has been announced.
Duane Dibartolomeo (pictured) from the Grosvenor Fish Bar in Norwich was announced as the winner by The Mirror on Monday morning (April 3, 2017).
Dibartolomeo was put forward to VisitNorwich as a candidate by by Helen Vinsen of MOA Marketing, a passionate supporter of tourism in Norwich.
VisitNorwich then submitted Dibartolomeo to VisitEngland, which then announced he had made the Top Ten finalist list.
Duane enthusiastically talks to all his customers whilst they are queuing for their orders advising them about where to visit and shop in Norwich and what to see.
VisitNorwich said: “we very proud that in the past four years this award has been won twice by one of its tourism members. This is a massive achievement.
“Being nominated and winning this award not only highlights the dedication and commitment to high customer service and tourism in our destination, it also highlights the quality of teamwork. Organisations working together can make things happen and get people talking about Norwich.”
