Topics will include investing in future tourism leaders, capitalising on innovation, and examining tourism’s implications on the economic future of heritage sites, with panel sessions and TEDx-style interludes to inspire best practices and ideas.
Chief executive of Tourism Vancouver Ty Speer will deliver the keynote, and secretary general of UNWTO Taleb Rifai, will appear via video message.
Commenting on the partnership, John McDonald from the Family Holiday Association said: “As a charity entwined with the tourism industry we continue to develop new and innovative ways of engaging and working with our industry colleagues to help more struggling families to get a break.
“Increasing access to tourism has clear benefits to the industry, and we look forward to continuing this discussion with many of you in Edinburgh in June.”
