VisitBritain is urging businesses and destinations to join its next domestic campaign, which will target young British millennials.
Launching in September, the Join the World campaign will encourage Brits aged 18 to 34 to take a short UK break with “inspirational content that showcases Britain through the eyes of their international peers”.
Businesses and destinations are urged to get involved by sharing their content with the national tourism agency.
Firms can woo potential visitors online and via social media using the hashtags #LoveGreatBritain and #LoveUK.
Content is sought in these sectors: culture and history, learning new skills, physical activity, city breaks, nightlife and clubs, food and restaurants, countryside, camping, spas and theme parks.
The campaign is the sixth instalment of the domestic GREAT campaign which VisitEngland is launching in partnership with Visit Wales, VisitScotland and Tourism Northern Ireland.
