Hair has transferred to London as the musical celebrates its 50th anniversary year.
The new production of the rock musical is now on at The Vaults, near Waterloo, having opened in Manchester’s Hope Mill Theatre.
The Vaults, on Launcelot Street, has been transformed into a 1960s-style venue, with psychedelic artwork.
Hair is set in a hippie community called The Tribe, in New York’s East Village, just after the Summer of Love – with people “living a life that is free and wild, drug-fuelled, sexually liberated and full of love and peace, while protesting and marching against the Vietnam War”.
It features songs such as Aquarius, Let the Sun Shine In and Good Morning Star Shine.
The show is booking until January 13, 2018.
