Theatre producer Cameron Mackintosh has added two UK dates for his touring production of Boublil and Schönberg’s musical Miss Saigon.
The show will play Bradford Alhambra (September 19-October 20) and Sunderland Empire (October 24-November 17.)
This tour of Miss Saigon opened at Leicester Curve in July 2017, and the production was first seen in the West End in March 2014.
Miss Saigon tells the story of the last days of the Vietnam War and how 17-year-old Kim is forced to work in a Saigon bar run by the Engineer.
She falls in love with an American GI named Chris but they are torn apart by the fall of Saigon.
Miss Saigon has been performed in 28 countries and in 15 different languages – and has been seen by more than 35 million people worldwide.
The show is currently in Dublin until November 18, and will move to Cardiff (November 29-January 6).
It will then visit Edinburgh, Southampton, Manchester, Bristol, Plymouth and Norwich, before the two added venues in Bradford and Sunderland.
