The final line up has been announced for Edinburgh’s first wellbeing festival taking place over the weekend of 27 and 28 January.
The event will bring together some of the biggest names in health and fitness in the capital, including Michelin starred chef Tom Kerridge, personal trainer, yoga teacher and author Shona Vertue and global influencers Chloe Madeley and Jasmine Hemsley.
The City of Edinburgh Council and Good Thinking have joined together to curate a programme of activities and self-improvement talks.
More day and weekend tickets have been released to the inaugural event taking place at the Assembly Rooms (pictured).
Activities across the weekend include discussions from a range of health experts such as the BBC’s Doctor in the House Dr Rangan Chatterjee and The Food Medic Dr Hazel Wallace.
Visitors can enjoy Clubbercise and Bollywood classes and yoga. There will be free health MOTs, massage, reflexology and herbal remedies.
Ian Campbell, vice culture and communities convener for the City of Edinburgh Council, said: “This festival is a great opportunity to come together to engage in wellbeing improvement with a fantastic programme.
“Edinburgh is already recognised as a top destination for a quality of life and we want to build on this and celebrate all we have to offer. With talks and workshops on everything from healthy eating to emotional wellbeing in one of the city’s most iconic venues, we hope the festival will become a firm favourite in the calendar.”
