If you or your group are hoping to explore London this winter and are seeking some well-located, stylish accomodation, look no further than Hyde Park’s La Suite West.
This boutique hotel is on the outskirts of the iconic park, and within short walking distance of Kensington Palace and the Serpentine Gallery.
A beautiful garden juts out by the entrance on the quiet street. It was a cold day when I arrived but I could see the potential joy of having a drink in the hotel garden during warmer months, protected from the passing public by the pretty hedgerows.
The hotel has a small but well-equipped fitness room for guests hoping to squeeze in a quick workout. Wellness is very much a theme throughout the dining experience too, with Nosh Garden Kitchen serving an array of superfoods and a vegan afternoon tea option.
We were welcomed by friendly staff members who collected our bags and explained the features in our room.
The rooms are a lovely mix of minimalist tranquility and modern technology, with a TV that emerges from the base of the four-poster bed and a handy smart device telling visitors all about the surrounding areas and attractions.
They provide a perfect space to unwind after a day of exploring, and the monsoon shower was to die for.
Nearby Notting Hill has hundreds of little art shops, quirky pubs and gorgeous restaurants. It’s a great place to explore for visitors looking to avoid ticking off the usual attractions and tourist traps.
The hotel offers regular special packages, and guests heading there over Christmas and New Year will be able to take advantage of their Winter Deal.
Running until January 14, 2018, the deal includes 25% off three-night stays in the Double Deluxe and Junior Suites. Also included are a continental breakfast and hot drinks on arrival, which, if the headlines are to be believed and an Arctic blast is heading to the UK, will be very much needed!
La Suite West offers the Junior Suite from £214 per night on a B&B basis.
