Families staying at Haven’s Primrose Valley holiday park in Yorkshire will be able to take the helm of a Mini Skipper boat and sail the lake as part of a new water-based activity for 2018.
With the help of Haven’s crew, families will solve clues to help them navigate the ‘uncharted’ waters of the park’s central lake. This activity costs £8 and is open to all ages, though children under eight-years-old must be accompanied by an adult.
The parks offer guests several other aqua activities. Canadian canoeing is a relaxing pursuit allowing families to glide across Lakeland or Primrose Valley’s lakes.
Dinghy sailing at Rockley Park in Dorset will teach children the basics and ensure a safe ride while they master their skills out at sea with an expert team.
The Hobbie Tandem Island Adventure at Rockley Park allows guests to explore the area of Poole Harbour and the waters around Rockley Park with an experienced guide.
Children and families are also able to hire kayaks, learn to build rafts and learn how to master the long paddleboard.
These activities are on offer for all ages, and Haven’s indoor pool and water activities cater for less-abled swimmers and younger guests.
