Away Resorts has set the stage for star-struck holidaymakers, with new rock-and-roll themed accommodation at its holiday villages.
Inspired by British rock music, the ‘Rockstar’ design is described as “part country chic, part Brit-cool, and part punk”.
The new holiday homes follow the launch last year of Tribeca, dubbed a “ground-breaking boutique-hotel-style caravan”.
Carl Castledine, Away Resorts managing director, said: “Imagine that Vivienne Westwood and the Rolling Stones designed a caravan. We are talking about a mix of plaid checks, sumptuous fabrics and, of course, the obligatory luxurious bedroom, complete with a huge bath.
“But the real rock ‘n’ roll touch is that they will each have a bubbling hot tub sat outside, for the ultimate indulgence that every hardworking rock star deserves.
“We are responding to an appetite out there for holiday accommodation with personality, with style, with individuality.”
The Rockstar’s debut will be at the holiday company’s Tattershall Lakes destination in Lincolnshire later this year.
There will be 15 Rockstars in an area called ‘Itchycoo Park’, which will have stars on the pathways and its own stage.
The Rockstar will then be launched at Whitecliff Bay on the Isle of Wight.
As well as Whitecliff Bay and Tattershall Lakes, Away Resorts owns Mill Rythe Holiday Village, Hayling Island; Barmouth Bay in north Wales; Mersea Island on the Essex coast; and Sandy Balls Holiday Village in the New Forest.
