Visit Jersey has launched a training programme for travel agents, with a chance to win a place on a fam trip to the island.
Called ‘The Island Break’, the interactive game aims to assess and improve agents’ knowledge of Jersey, with a range of training levels that represent elements of island life.
Sarah Barton, head of trade at Visit Jersey, said: “Visit Jersey understands the importance of the travel trade and I’m delighted to be leading on the launch of ‘The Island Break’, a new tool that will help agents discover Jersey in a new, innovative way.
“The travel trade continues to play a vital role in driving visitors to Jersey and this exciting development will enable Visit Jersey to better connect with, and provide an engaging platform for, all travel agents.”
Agents who top the charts by answering questions in the game can win a place on the fam trip for themselves and a colleague.
Bonus points can be earned by logging bookings to Jersey, or by sending the game to a colleague.
The first 500 agents to register and complete the game successfully will be rewarded with a cinema voucher.
Jersey welcomed almost 404,000 people for a holiday from January to November 2017, a growth of 17% year-on-year.
