Singer Lulu will be back on the West End stage after 30 years, to play Dorothy Brock in 42nd Street.
She will take over the role from Sheena Easton on March 19 for 16 weeks.
Lulu made her acting debut at the age of 16, starring with Sidney Poitier in To Sir With Love, and has a successful career as an actress, singer, song-writer and businesswoman.
Her West End debut was in Guys & Dolls, and she has also starred in Peter Pan, Whatever Happened to Harold Smith and Song & Dance.
Known for songs such as Shout, and a Number One with Take That, Lulu has just completed a 44-date, sell-out tour of the UK.
Also joining the cast of 42nd Street is Ashley Day as Billy Lawlor. Ashley performed the role of Jerry Mulligan in the recent West End production of An American in Paris.
His other theatrical credits include Kiss Me Kate, Oklahoma!, The Book of Mormon, The Wizard of Oz, High School Musical, Evita, Mary Poppins and Oliver!.
42nd Street is playing at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, and includes songs such as We’re In The Money, Lullaby of Broadway and 42nd Street.
It is currently booking until October 20.
