Premier Holidays has launched a trade marketing campaign to help agents promote Guernsey ahead of the movie release of The Guernsey Literary & Potato Peel Pie Society.
The independent tour operator is working with Visit Guernsey during March and April to highlight the island’s attractions and the film, which opens in cinemas on April 20.
Premier Holidays is running a trade incentive in which agents who make a Guernsey booking during March will be entered into a prize draw to win tickets to attend the film premiere in Guernsey, with overnight accommodation and travel provided.
To help agents make bookings, Premier Holidays has released tactical deals including four nights at La Villette from £325 per person; four nights at Les Rocquettes from £399; and four nights at Duke of Richmond from £415.
Campaign merchandise is available from the operator’s website, including glossy window posters featuring images from the film and promoting walks where clients can visit places associated with The Guernsey Literary & Potato Peel Pie Society.
Double-sided trade flyers including detailed product information and Premier’s suggestions on Guernsey locations linked to the film, will be available.
Following the film’s launch, the operator will host ‘An Evening at the Cinema with Premier Holidays’, inviting agents around the country to a film screening with popcorn, a meal and drinks.
