Short break specialist Super Break plans to take more than 200 travel agents on familiarisation trips to London between May and September.
The trips are being planned to showcase London and its attractions, to ensure agents have the knowledge necessary to sell this popular short-break destination to clients.
While in London, agents will visit key attractions, sample one of Super Break’s dining options, see a popular show and have an overnight hotel stay.
In addition, Super Break plans to host some day trips for agents who are based within a shorter distance of the capital.
Trips are being planned for agents from TUI and Thomas Cook as well as various consortia and independents.
Gary Gillespie (pictured), national sales manager at Super Break, said: “This is an ambitious programme for us and clearly shows our commitment to agents.
“London is a key short break destination and we want to ensure as many agents as possible can sell it with first-hand knowledge.
“It has been a long time since we have hosted such a large number of agents in one destination, in one year.
“We are as determined as ever to ensure agents get to sample our products, something that continues to be of great importance in the sales process.”
