The musical Annie will embark on a major UK tour next year, opening at the Manchester Opera House on February 9, 2019.
This production recently ran in the West End following a sell-out tour of the UK and Ireland in 2015-16.
Set in 1930s New York during The Great Depression, it tells the tale of young Annie and her life of misery at Miss Hannigan’s orphanage.
Her luck changes when she is chosen to spend Christmas at the residence of famous billionaire, Oliver Warbucks.
It features songs such as It’s the Hard Knock Life, Easy Street and Tomorrow.
After Manchester, the tour moves to Wolverhampton, Oxford, Bristol, Chester, Hull, Glasgow, Bradford, Southampton, Llandudno, Nottingham, Southend, Woking, Dartford, Liverpool and Milton Keynes. Further dates and casting will be announced.
