Actor and reality television star Christopher Biggins will be the guest speaker at the Travel Luncheon Club’s Summer Gala (June 29).
Commonly referred to as ‘Biggins’, he has been a regular face on TV since the 1970s.
Probably the country’s best known Pantomime Dame, Biggins received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Great British Pantomime Awards in 2017.
During the lunch at The Dorchester Hotel, London, he will talk about the work carried out by the Kent-based charity, Dover Counselling Centre, whose new office he opened in 2017.
Bryn Jones, Travel Luncheon Club chairman, said: “We are delighted Christopher Biggins has agreed to attend our event to raise funds for such a worthy cause. Our Summer Gala is popular with travel industry executives and we are hoping for a bumper attendance.”
