Gangsta Granny hits West End again

The award-winning adaptation of David Walliams’ bestselling book, Gangsta Granny, will return to the West End this summer (August 14-26).

The Birmingham Stage Company production will be at the Harold Pinter Theatre.

It tells the tale of Ben and his granny, who has a surprising secret.

Walliams said: “Gangsta Granny is my most popular book so it’s wonderful to see the brilliant BSC’s terrific adaptation back in the West End again. It’s a fantastic, award-winning show – and so much better than the book!”

In the 10 years since the publication of his first novel, The Boy in the Dress, Walliams has become a global bestseller with book sales exceeding 23 million copies.

The Birmingham Stage Company has become one of the world’s leading producers of theatre for children and their families.
