Royal bride-to-be arrives at Madame Tussauds

Madame Tussauds London has unveiled its waxwork figure of Meghan Markle, ahead of her wedding with Prince Harry.

Fans will be able to party with the model of Meghan and her groom at a hen-and-stag themed event on the eve of wedding (May 18), before the figures officially arrive on the royal wedding day, May 19.

They will feature in the Merlin Entertainments-owned attraction in front of a 15-feet-wide video wall that will allow guests to choose how they would like to be photographed with the much-loved couple.

Guests can select from a range of backdrops and props, from the cutting of the cake at their wedding to relaxing on a private beach.

Meghan is dressed her engagement announcement outfit, with a replica of her engagement ring with “added Madame Tussauds London magic to make it sparkle”.

Edward Fuller, general manager at Madame Tussauds London, said: “Excitement ahead of the royal wedding is reaching fever pitch and we have been inundated with questions about when people can finally meet ‘Their Royal Likenesses’.

“We’re following their lead by inviting the great British public to join the couple in their wedding celebrations here at Madame Tussauds London.”
