The Future Global Opportunities for UK Tourism conference in Liverpool (June 28) has a new website, detailing the speakers and agenda.
Organised by Cheeky Monkey Media, the conference is part of the International Business Festival at ACC Liverpool.
Conference director Simon Greenbury said: “This conference puts the travel and tourism industry centre stage, at a festival that celebrates all that is best about business and the importance key sectors play in the British economy.
“Any travel professional who is looking to understand the opportunities open to them in the future should consider attending.
“They will not be disappointed by what they hear and learn.”
He said Britain will have a tourism industry worth more than £257 billion by 2025 – accounting for almost 10% of UK GDP and supporting about 3.8 million jobs.
“With TravelGBI as the conference’s official media partner, the one-day event has been created to challenge and open minds to new ways of thinking to help develop and grow businesses,” added Greenbury.
“Delegates will hear from some of the industry’s innovators and disruptors, tackling a range of topics including trends, airlines, regional airports, Brand Britain, brand loyalty, new business models, marketing, AI and staffing.”
The conference will end with a keynote address on the festival’s Futures Stage by Cherie Blair (pictured), who will be highlighting ‘The Importance of People in a Globalised Economy’.
The conference will be chaired by Sky presenter, reporter and producer Hayley McQueen.
