Tour organisers are invited to see group facilities at The Gilbert White and Oates Collections and nearby Chawton House and Gardens as part of a Hampshire fam trip (June 25).
Organised by Hampshire-based Steve Reed Tourism Ltd, the trip will showcase visitor facilities at Gilbert White House in Selborne Village, including coach parking, cafe, shops, new galleries, butterfly walk and tours.
The attraction is famous for its links with famous explorers – Frank Oates and Captain Oates of Scott Expedition fame – and Gilbert White’s pioneering investigation of the natural world.
Chawton House in Jane Austen’s Chawton village will take guests on tour of the historic house and gardens.
Steve Reed, managing director of Steve Reed Tourism Ltd, said: “We’re proud to be located so close to such exciting and fascinating attractions for groups. Gilbert White and the Oates Collections are able to offer groups more than ever before with their new facilities.
“And it will be super to include Chawton House as it’s a true hidden gem yet is so accessible for groups of all types.”
