Arenas in Cardiff, Birmingham and Nottingham will host Elf – A Christmas Spectacular, starring singer David Essex and actor Martine McCutcheon.
Extra tickets were recently put on sale as more than 30,000 tickets were sold in the first three weeks of being on sale last month.
The arena show features special effects including a giant sleigh flying across the arena, an indoor snow blizzard, an iceberg journey and a cast of 100 performers including up to 70 children from local Pauline Quirke Academies.
The show will be performed across a 70-foot wide stage and a 60-foot long thrust stage, with some scenes taking place around and above the audience.
Giant screens will show computer graphic backdrops and live action close-ups.
The original stage version of the show played to record-breaking audiences in 2015-2016 at London’s Dominion Theatre.
It tells the tale of Buddy the Elf leaving Santa at the North Pole to seek his real father in New York.
The show will be at Cardiff’s Motorpoint Arena (December 14-16), Birmingham’s Genting Arena (December 20-24) and Nottingham’s Motorpoint Arena (December 28-30).
