Summer festival folk focus on festive St Albans

St Albans will be offering a new Christmas experience this year when the cathedral city’s summer festival organisers launch their first winter festival.

The inaugural Meraki Christmas Festival (November 30-December 22) will be free to enter, and includes seasonal activities, such as Santa Claus experiences, ice skating, funfair, ice bar, live music, theatre and entertainment.

The Meraki Christmas Movie House will be showing a selection of the best-loved Christmas classics.

The Food Court will serve Christmas treats, from traditional mulled wine and sausages, to desserts and vegetarian options.

Furthermore, the festival will host the St Albans Christmas Market, which features Christmas stalls and chalets.

The team at Meraki are the organisers of Hertfordshire’s summer festival, also called Meraki.
