Poldark actor Heida Reed will star with Game of Thrones’ Iwan Rheon in the West End premiere of Foxfinder (September 6-January 5).
She has starred as Elizabeth Warleggan in the BBC drama Poldark and the character met her tragic end in the recent season finale.
The Icelandic actor has also had roles in Silent Witness, and previous stage work includes Scarlet at the Southwark Playhouse and the 2011 revival of Top Girls at Trafalgar Studios.
Described as an “unsettling and darkly comic drama”, Foxfinder will play at the Ambassadors Theatre for a limited season.
First performed at London’s Finborough Theatre in 2011, it tells the story of William Bloor, a foxfinder, who arrives at a farm to investigate a suspected fox infestation.
The cast is led by Rheon, who has many stage, TV and film credits, but is best known for his role as Ramsay Bolton in Game of Thrones.
Also joining the cast are Olivier nominee Bryony Hannah (Call the Midwife) and Paul Nicholls (Law & Order, EastEnders).
