A new Merlin Entertainments attraction for thrill-seekers, created with adventurer Bear Grylls, has launched, offering discounts for groups, writes Angie Cronin.
The £20 million Bear Grylls Adventure has opened at the NEC in Birmingham and is designed to test adrenaline junkies both physically and mentally.
It features a ‘Basecamp’ that is made up of four team and individual challenges, including the Survival Maze, Assault Course, Target Archery and Break Out – Escape Rooms.
Group travel organisers looking to test out this experience will benefit from discounts of 10% on bookings of 10 people or more.
The four Basecamp activities take 90 minutes to compete, and there is also the opportunity to take part in other adventures inspired by Grylls’ antics, including skydiving, climbing high ropes and diving. These activities are also available to group bookings.
Tickets to Basecamp are priced at £20, with combined Basecamp and headline adventure packages starting at £35.
The Go ALL in Pass costs £160 for a full day adventure.
