Excursions trip uncovers natural wonders in London

A fam trip is planned for Excursions delegates to visit attractions in the capital which explore science and nature.

Aimed at group travel organisers, Excursions 2019 exhibition takes place at Alexandra Palace, London, on Saturday January 26.

The fam trip, ‘England’s Natural Wonders of the World’, will take place on Friday January 25 and delegates will be hosted in a four-star London hotel.

The itinerary will start with a behind-the-scenes tour at Sea Life, where an expert aquarist guide will talk about the attraction’s 600+ marine and freshwater species.

Lunch will be served during a Thames cruise with MBNA Thames Clippers.

In the afternoon, there will be a tour of the Royal Museums Greenwich, Royal Observatory and Planetarium.

On January 26, delegates will be taken to Alexandra Palace for Excursions 2019, where more than 1,200 group organisers, coach and tour operators will be able to meet 300 attractions, destination partners and fellow tour operators from across the UK.

Organised by Tourism South East, the show also will see the launch of new themed areas including a Food & Drink zone, featuring vineyards, pubs and other food offerings.

The familiarisation trip concludes on Saturday afternoon with a private tour of the newly refurbished Temperate House at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.
