Premier Holidays has launched a competition for travel agents to celebrate the launch of its 2019 short-haul brochure and the 40th anniversary of the operator selling the Channel Islands.
The new brochure features Jersey, Guernsey, Alderney, Sark, Herm, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly and Isle of Wight and is valid for travel until December 2019.
First prize is a two-night stay at Jersey’s Atlantic Hotel, travelling by sea with Condor Ferries, followed by 40 runners-up prizes of a miniature bottle of Wheadon’s Gin and a copy of The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society on DVD to mark four decades selling the Channel Islands.
To enter, agents should visit Premier’s trade website to complete a quiz on the new brochure before October 12.
For 2019, Premier is promoting heritage breaks in Jersey with the introduction of heritage holiday accommodation, with properties dating back to 550AD and including rustic coastal towers, forts, converted barns or stables.
Agents can also book a Jersey Heritage Pass from £32 per person giving clients unlimited access to four historical attractions for the price of three, including Mont Orgueil Castle, Maritime Museum and Occupation Tapestry Gallery and Hamptonne Country life Museum.
Other new excursions for 2019 include a gin-tasting and two-course dinner experience at Guernsey’s Bella Luce hotel from £32 per person.
Premier is also promoting The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society themed walking tour, taking in the areas where characters from the novel and film lived.
The operator has also expanded its Isle of Wight product for 2019, introducing hotels in several new areas on the island.
