Crystal Maze attraction moves to London’s West End

A £5 million Crystal Maze LIVE Experience will open on March 29 in London’s Trocadero, with 32 new games for players to tackle.

The attraction is moving from Islington to Shaftesbury Avenue in the West End and will be able to triple its annual number of visitors.

Based on the 90s tv show, the Crystal Maze LIVE Experience in Islington has welcomed more than 300,000 visitors since its opening in 2016.

The Angel attraction will remain open until January 28, 2019. There is also a site in Manchester.

Wearing satin bomber jackets, players must dash through the Medieval, Aztec, Industrial and Futuristic adventure zones to complete a series of challenges against the clock.

Players can win crystals by completing challenges, and having more crystals means more time for the final challenge in the Crystal Dome.

Also new for 2019 are school trip packages, aimed at testing pupils’ mental, physical and mystery-solving capabilities.
