VisitBritain has redesigned its corporate and industry website, with new features such as information on more than 40 inbound tourism markets.
The site, at visitbritain.org, also offers interactive charts for inbound visitor statistics and advice for businesses taking their first steps in international marketing.
The tourism agency has also released the latest film in its campaign to increase international visits to the British countryside.
It collaborated with BBC Earth to produce a 90-second film, highlighting experiences in North Wales, the Highlands (pictured) and the Cotswolds.
As well as online developments, VisitBritain is encouraging UK businesses to attend a series of travel trade events.
In partnership with UKinbound, it is holding a seminar about the importance of lesbian, bisexual and transgender tourism to the UK inbound market (July 15).
Speakers include VisitBritain’s head of international media and destination PR, Paul Gauger, and Clark Massad, global partnerships vice-president at the International Gay & Lesbian Travel Association.
Taking place in Mexico, Destination Britain Americas (September 18-21) offers suppliers the chance to meet and do business with 150 top travel buyers from the US, Canada, Brazil, Mexico and Colombia.
Discover Wales (October 1-2) is hosted by Visit Wales in partnership with UKinbound and VisitBritain as part of the Discover Programme of events.
VisitBritain will also have stands at two MICE events – IMEX America 2015 (October 13-15) and IBTM World 2015 (November 17-19).
