RHS reveals new garden-themed tours

The Royal Horticultural Society has unveiled a new collection of garden-themed holidays for 2016-17.

Developed with garden tour experts Brightwater Holidays, the programme features 26 escorted tours to destinations around the globe, as well as the UK and Ireland.

Locations include Devon and Cornwall, and themes such as ‘The Landscape Gardens of Capability Brown’, created to mark this influential garden designer’s tricentenary.

Another tour explores the legacy of garden designer Gertrude Jekyll, best known for her association with the architect Sir Edwin Lutyens.

Sue Biggs, RHS director general, said: “We are delighted to present this unique, new collection of holidays, which draw on the expertise of RHS staff, Committee members, curators and gardeners as well as our advisory and science teams.”
