The Ticket Factory has reported a “substantial” rise in ticket sales for the Royal Horticultural Society’s shows in the first half of 2015.
The ticketing agency, which is part of the NEC Group, sold more than 462,000 tickets for the RHS’s shows via its website, call centre and box office.
Online improvements led to a 12% increase in conversion rates compared to 2014, which equates to a 5% increase in total sales through The Ticket Factory website.
Marketing promotions have also helped drive more visitors to RHS Malvern Spring Festival, RHS Chelsea, RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show, RHS Cardiff and RHS Flower Show Tatton Park.
Sarah Whittaker, The Ticket Factory sales director, said: “We will now continue to support RHS with their show objectives by pushing towards even bigger goals next year – thanks to further improvements we’ll be making to the online customer journey, marketing support and a greater drive for group sales.”
Upcoming RHS events include the London Harvest Festival (October 6-7).
