The Doyle Collection has partnered with Irish Design 2015, a year-long programme celebrating the work of Irish artists.
A selection of original works created by these artists is now on display in the lobby of Dublin’s five star boutique hotel, The Westbury.
The art has inspired the hotel to serve a special afternoon tea in its gallery – a spacious first floor landing area with a range of eclectic seating overlooking the streets below.
The desserts served as part of the Irish Design Afternoon Tea are each influenced by one piece of art that is featured in the lobby.
Located on a pedestrianised road off Grafton Street, arguably the Irish capital’s best-known thoroughfare, The Westbury is the ideal location for anyone looking to make the most of Dublin’s attractions, while also enjoying the luxury of five-star accommodation.
A member of the Leading Hotels of the World, the property ticks all the boxes that belonging to this exclusive club requires.
Rooms range from a Superior Classic to the Presidential Suite and all offer king sized beds, marble bathrooms with heated floors, a wide-range of toiletries, a Nespresso machine and free wifi.
Breakfast is served at Wilde – The Restaurant, where hot food is ordered from attentive staff and a continental buffet can also be enjoyed. It’s not uncommon to spot some of Ireland’s most famous faces taking brunch here, as The Westbury is a favourite with local celebs.
On the ground floor of the hotel is Balfes restaurant and bar, which opened last year offering the best of Irish and international cuisine and a bar area serving a range of drinks and cocktails. For those looking to continue socialising outside of the hotel, the popular Bruxelles bar is located a few metres from the property.
Rooms at The Westbury start at €240 per night bed and breakfast.
