The Stratford-upon-Avon Butterfly Farm will unveil a new look and open Maya, an ancient rainforest civilisation exhibit, next month.
The attraction, which has undergone a major refurbishment programme, has also been awarded the 2016 TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence for the fifth year running.
The accolade is given to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding traveller reviews on TripAdvisor.
The attraction will reveal its new look and new exhibit at an opening ceremony on July 22 and the celebrations will continue on July 23-24 with the general public.
There will be ‘mini-beast’ handling sessions, demonstrations in the Discovery Zone, a competition to win season tickets and an interactive book on the Maya.
Jane Kendrick, marketing manager at the Stratford Butterfly Farm, said: “Being awarded the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence for the fifth year running is an immense source of pride for the team.
“As we are currently undergoing a major renovation project we are particularly delighted to have been awarded this accolade and would like to thank our visitors for their continued support.”
The Butterfly Farm is home to hundreds of butterflies, insects, reptiles and spiders, and group discounts are available.
