Golden retriever George – VisitScotland’s Ambassadog – met three resident retrievers at Dundas Castle in Edinburgh to help with his tourism training.
The golden retrievers, Burn, Beech, and Bark – who have featured on ABC News in the US – met George as he embarked on his new role as the official canine ambassador representing the spirit of Scotland.
A five-star venue which welcomes guests from across the globe, Dundas Castle is the family home of Sir Jack and Lady Stewart-Clark and their three dogs.
Following the recent launch of a Downton Abbey-inspired experience which received interest from around the world, the dogs took a starring role in an ABC News livestream broadcast to the US, showing viewers how to live the castle lifestyle.
George’s visit was one of the Ambassadog’s first official engagements since being appointed in his role of encouraging visitors to explore Scotland.
