Princess Cruises is redeploying Grand Princess from its planned Australia 2025-26 season to Puerto Rico.
The ship was originally scheduled to sail Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific cruises from Brisbane and Sydney, but the line said it has made the changes as part of its “ongoing product strategy”.
Instead, Grand Princess will homeport in San Juan for its winter 2025-26 season, marking the first time the line has returned to the region in more than a decade. The ship will sail two alternating seven-night roundtrip itineraries between October 12, 2025, and March 29, 2026.

The first itinerary will call at Tortola, Saint Kitts, Dominica, Grenada and Barbados while the second visits Saint Thomas, Saint Maarten, Antigua, Saint Vincent and Barbados. Both go on sale on May 16.
Passengers booked on original Grand Princess sailings will be contacted by the line’s customer service team of their travel agent and offered an alternate cruise or full refund, Princess Cruises said.

“Puerto Rico remains one of the fastest growing destinations in the Caribbean and continues to attract new airlift from source markets across the US as well as markets in Europe and South America which makes it a great fit for Princess.
“Plus, there are many outstanding options to choose from for a great pre or post-cruise stay.”
