Established in 1977, it has become established as the trusted source of news, product information and features covering England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales for more than four decades.

Unlike niche publications serving specific sectors, TravelGBI is the newspaper of record for the entire industry – covering areas including group and coach travel, domestic and inbound holidays, attractions and theatres.

Readers range from group travel organisers, travel agents and tour operators to coach operators, tourist boards and school travel planners, with an ABC-audited circulation of 12,000 and an extended reach through the digital edition published online.

A new-look website at TravelGBI.com includes the best of the print magazine, plus all the latest news, comment and analysis of the issues facing the industry.

TravelGBI works in partnership with the leading industry associations, including the Tourism Society, UKinbound, Etoa and VisitEngland.

It is distributed direct to subscribers, and also at leading industry events including World Travel Market, the British Tourism & Travel Show and VisitScotland expo.

After 41 years serving the domestic and inbound travel industry in the UK & Ireland, TravelGBI published its last edition in November 2018.

Despite receiving significant investment including a new website and a redesigned print edition, it became clear that the demand for a standalone print title and website for the sector had declined as readers and commercial partners embraced different communication and business channels.

Jacobs Media Group will continue to support and invest in the sector through its flagship titles Travel Weekly and The Caterer and continues to offer increased opportunities to reach international markets through its expanding overseas events portfolio.
